About The Living Room

The Living Room is a Hertfordshire charity providing free, abstinence-based recovery support for adults affected by substance use or addictive behaviours. We also support family members, friends and carers, recognising that recovery affects everyone.

As a Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO), lived experience is at the heart of what we do. Our group therapy programme is facilitated by professionally trained counsellors who are themselves in long-term recovery, offering hope, understanding and evidence-based support in a safe, welcoming community where lasting recovery can flourish.
