About Citizens Advice Stevenage

Citizens Advice Stevenage is a small charity that provides information and advice to help people resolve their problems, including benefits, debt, employment, housing and so on. We provide free and independent advice to help people solve the problems they face and improve the policies and practices that affect peoples’ lives. We offer a number of specialist services and last year we helped 7,868 people with 28,888 issues. We are an independent charity, and responsible for running our own affairs within agreed standards of our membership with the National Citizens Advice. We have 28 staff and 54 volunteers, a budget of over 600 thousand and operate out of one main office and three outreaches in Stevenage.
