Summary

Support adults with learning disabilities, build confidence, and create real impact in a friendly, inclusive community at Watford Workshop.

Detailed description

This volunteer role is perfect for anyone interested supporting adults with learning disabilities and who wants to make a real difference in their community.

As a Volunteer Mentor at Watford Workshop, you’ll sit alongside our service users, encourage them as they work on tasks such as packing and assembly, and celebrate their achievements with them.

Your support helps them build confidence and develop new skills. You might also help service users connect with each other through our buddy system, assist with job coaching, and contribute to creating a warm, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.

We’re looking for patient, empathetic volunteers with a positive attitude and good communication skills - people who want to help others succeed and enjoy working as part of a friendly team. Even a few hours of your time can have a big impact on someone’s day, helping them feel more confident and connected.

If you’re looking for a rewarding way to give back and be part of a supportive, inspiring community, we’d love to hear from you.
