Visitors can discover the history and heritage of this remarkable town in five galleries displaying archaeological finds, Roman remains, medieval treasures and more. There are hands-on activities for families and a changing programme of exhibitions and events. Our volunteer stewards play a key role in welcoming visitors and enhancing their visit to the museum.
