About The Living Theatre, Whitwell
An outdoor arts organisation, born out of the pandemic with a mission to provide access to the outdoors and arts, increase the wellbeing of our community and provide support for those wishing to enter the industry. Sustainable practices and mentorship are woven into all of our projects, along with a bigger goal to cultivate new sustainable practices within the outdoor theatre industry. We are run by a core creative team and a large group of wonderful local volunteers.
Our volunteers do a fabulous mix of activities, from being involved in building sets for production's, gardening days and helping out on the bar!
