Someone with local knowledge of the community to join our CIC Director's Board for our Charity Shops

Detailed description

Our small Board of Directors monitor the legal obligations, support our staff well-being and provide strategic and commercial direction for the Charity Shop in Stevenage and report to The Living Room charity. We mainly meet online every quarter and communicate via email.

The Charity Shop raises funds to support The Living Room charity, breaking the cycle of addiction in Hertfordshire. They provide free, time unlimited, group therapy for adults who have any type of addiction, facilitated by trained counsellors with lived experience of recovery.

If you want to volunteer as your first experience of being a trustee, this could be perfect for you and we would love to hear from you and the skills that you have to support your community. Or, you may have experience of Retail or Business and want to give back, this would be perfect for you.
