Community Walk & Talk

Bishop Stortford - Castle Gardens - Friday mornings 10-11am

The last Friday of each month

Starting Friday 26th April – Friday 27th September 2024  

To support the vision of One YMCA by providing a Walk & Talk group in the community. This is an opportunity for people to connect with others, and for the family centre to engage with families in the community, bridging between the community and family centres. As a volunteer you will be a friendly and welcoming face for our Walk & Talk group.

This includes:

·        Lead & plan session/route.

·        Greeting people/families upon arrival

·        Be a friendly face and person to talk to for our attendees       

·        Some administrations ie: registrations/signing in.

·        Engage with clients throughout the session

·        Assist with games and quizzes throughout the session

·        Signpost people/families into the services

Other required tasks as requested based on your skills/experience or needs of the service.
