Summary

This exciting and varied role supports our Fundraising and Communication officer.

Detailed description

The list below is intended to give the applicant an idea of what they could get involved with depending on their experience and preference. Applicants will not be expected to get involved in all the tasks listed below.


  • Website – writing news updates or monthly blogs, updating and maintaining fundraising pages on wordpress
  • Writing press releases
  • Delivering materials to fundraisers - posters / collection buckets / merchandise
  • Approaching new prospects
  • Supporting our fundraising events
  • Social media - designing posts / supporting engagement
  • Bi-monthly newsletter – setting up, formatting, proofreading

 

Help support our flagship event ‘Mental Elf Run’ November 2023

  • Digital promotion – social media, press releases, website, newsletter
  • Designing marketing materials
  • ‘Flyering’ in the local area
  • Approaching potential sponsors
  • Communicating with sign-ups via Eventbrite and just giving

We support positive mental health working across three themes; prevention, social support and recovery.
