About Hitchin Town FC

Hitchin Town FC is at the heart of Hitchin Community, we welcome people from all walks of life into Top Field Stadium. We are based on Fishponds Road in Hitchin and have a bus stop right outside. Our Matches are on Saturdays and Monday Evenings when we are playing at home.

Volunteering Opportunities for over 18’s:

Are you currently doing your Duke of Edinburgh Gold; or seeking an opportunity to get some volunteering under your belt?

Not only is it rewarding, it looks great on a CV!

Are you retired and looking to fill your time with a rewarding position?

We have placements available for several roles. These include:

Match Day Marshalling: This is a great opportunity to volunteer within your community Football Club. Assisting our Players and visitors parking, aiding supporters around the stadium during the match and assisting the Club to tidy after each game.

Cleaning Roles: This is an opportunity to help with keeping the facilities at Top Field clean before and after use. This role can be completed on either match days or at more flexible times to suit

Maintenance Roles: Assist our band of volunteers in doing general maintenance activities around the ground to keep everything in working order ready for use.

Club Shop Retail Assistant: Engage with our supporters on a match day and help to continue to grow a important revenue stream for the club

We would love to hear from anyone over the age of 18. Hitchin Town FC is a very friendly Club geared towards family and community we have a lot to offer and hope you can spare us some time on a Monday Night or Saturday Afternoon.
