Detailed description

GRIT (Growing Resilience in Teens) support young people ages 11-24 in Hertfordshire with their mental health and wellbeing, enabling them to take responsibility for themselves and the lives they wish to lead.

We do this by offering embodied coaching techniques through the application of our Four Corners Method - a coaching method that incorporates traditional techniques with the use of boxing and boxing metaphors to empower individuals to better their mental health, build resilience, regain confidence and ultimately create something for themselves.

This role would be flexible on day and time, with a view to collect pots at various locations in Letchworth once every 6-8 weeks and dropping them off to our office in Hitchin

You may also:

  • Look for other opportunities for places to host pots eg restaurants, cafes, petrol garages, shops

You must be able to drive to collect the pots for safety. However if you cannot drive and would like to volunteer for us, do get in touch to discuss becoming an ambassador for us instead.

About Growing Resilience In Teens (GRIT)

Growing Resilience in Teens (GRIT) supports young people to improve their mental health through group boxing programmes, workshops and one-to-one coaching. Young people come to us from a variety of routes, including health care professionals, education settings and self- referrals – the majority of referrals come to us directly from schools. At the core of our work is the ‘Four Corners’ method, which empowers young people to use adversity as a platform for growth.
