About Free Books Hatfield
Free Books Hatfield is a small independent book rehoming charity run entirely by volunteers. Our aims are to prevent books from going to landfill and promote reading in the community by giving out free books. The public donates books to us, we sort and put them on our shelves, and then customers can come in and take up to 8 books for free per visit. We are open from 11am to 4pm, Monday to Sunday, and have rehomed over 500,000 books since we were established in 2016.
