About Discover Bucks Museum

Discover Bucks is an independent charity which looks after 130,000 objects telling the story of Bucks and beyond from 200 million years ago to the present day.
We strive to fulfill our mission: “We collect and share objects and stories reflecting the people, culture and landscapes in Buckinghamshire. We encourage visitors to join us on journeys of discovery. We inspire our community, creating conversations and connections to the place where we live.”

We also seek to provide a positive learning experience for children of all ages, through our extensive schools program and holiday activities. By inspiring the next generation to love museums, we are able to keep the rich history of Bucks alive.
