we are looking for a volunteer who has good communication and computer skills to support our fantastic finance and office manager!
Some examples of what your day might entail would be: packaging and despatching book orders, helping out with the DHT lottery and helping out with staff admin like booking off holidays...basically helping to keep DHT running smoothly!
Even though the position is voluntary we would like the applicant to be able to commit to set times every week (most likely during the hours our finance & office manager is coming in currently!)We would like the applicant to have some Knowledge of Word, Excel and email, good written and verbal communication skills and an understanding of confidentiality issues.
Because the role is helping out our finance & office manager we would like the volunteer to be a good listener and take initiative!

Due to this fact, the staff and volunteers at DHT have to think quite creatively about ways to take objects and stories out into the community, in order to successfully share our local history.
