Step2Skills is offering a webinar in partnership with GoVolHerts on Wednesday, 10th July at 10am, where we'll be discussing volunteering opportunities around Hertfordshire and how they can be a gateway to employment.
Volunteering is a great option to consider, particularly if;
✔️You are interested in a particular sector but you lack any previous experience in this industry
✔️You're not sure if a career option is for you and would like to 'try before you buy'
✔️Your confidence/resilience/wellbeing levels are low and you are looking for ways to improve it
✔️It's a gateway through to employment - some volunteers go on to be offered paid employment opportunities with their employer, therefore bypassing the traditional recruitment processes
