ACT will be at the heart of this historic market, inspiring the local community to support their hospital through fundraising, volunteering and donations.

Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) will be in the heart of Cambridge's world-famous market, helping raise awareness of the many ways people can support their local hospital. Whether through fundraising, volunteering or making a donation, this is a great opportunity to engage with members of the public and share the impact their support can have.

You'll also help promote ACT's services, campaigns and projects as we continue to raise our profile across the community. To help engage visitors, we will be running a range of games and activities throughout the day, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for people of all ages.

If you can spare some time, we have 2-hour, 4-hour and full-day volunteer opportunities available between 10.00am and 4.00pm.

Full training and guidance will be provided before your shift, and you'll be supported by a friendly and experienced team throughout the day.

So what are you waiting for? Join us and help make a difference for patients, staff and families across our local hospitals.

About Addenbrookes Charitable Trust

Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust is the only registered charity dedicated to supporting innovation in patient care across Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Whether it’s treatment for an emergency, acute condition, pregnancy or long term illness, we believe that every patient deserves the highest quality of care available.

Thanks to the immensely generous support of our donors, Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals can provide a level of patient care beyond that which can be delivered by NHS funding alone and make projects happen sooner or to a greater degree than might have otherwise been possible.

Charitable donations fund high-tech equipment, specialist staff, extra comforts and vital research to find potential cures and help save lives locally, nationally and worldwide.
