Summary

Volunteer at Woodoaks Farm in Maple Cross. Take part in phase III of our hedge restoration project. Morning and afternoon sessions run 10-12 and 1-3pm.

Detailed description

Woodoaks Farm is owned by The Soil Association & based in Maple Cross, Herts.

In 2020 we embarked on a series of projects to restore the farm's natural landscape to reverse the decline in nature & improve the land as a green & open space for the local community to enjoy.

Over the past two years 200 community volunteers have helped us to plant over 2 kilometres of hedges that will form part of this transformed landscape. Watch the video below to see how previous volunteers enjoyed it!

This November we commence phase III of our in hedgerow restoration project, which will see a further 750meters of whips and saplings planted over a 4 day period.
