Summary

Could you be a Digital Champion? We are looking for Champions to help local people gain the skills and confidence to stay connected through technology.

Detailed description

As part of the county-wide Staying Connected project, we are looking for People who are able to help other get connected online.


The main focus of this project is to help those who are mostly excluded from support services and social circles resulting from a lack of digital ability.

About Welwyn Hatfield Community and Voluntary Services

The Welwyn Hatfield Community and Voluntary Services (WHCVS) provides support and advice to Voluntary and Community Organisations as well as to individuals in Welwyn Hatfield area by acting as an central agency for those who need assistance and those who are volunteering their services for this purpose. In addition, we also operate the WHCVS Community Car Scheme which transports residents in the Welwyn Hatfield Borough who have difficulty using public transport. We transport to hospitals appointments all over the county and to London specialist hospitals.
You will also find that the Volunteer Centre Welwyn Hatfield is integrated into the work of the of the WHCVS. We develop and promote local voluntary and community groups in order to improve the quality of life for all.
