Being the welcoming face of Watford Mencap😊 Join us and help create a place where everyone feels welcome and valued in our Community Hub. 💙

Are you friendly, welcoming, and passionate about making a difference?

We're looking for volunteers to help create a warm and inclusive environment for people with learning disabilities, their families, visitors, and staff at our Community Hub.

In this role, you'll:

  • Welcome visitors and provide a friendly first point of contact.
  • Assist with enquiries in person and over the phone.
  • Support with emails, data entry, and general administration.
  • Help organise events and activities.

No experience is needed - just a positive attitude and a willingness to help. Training and support will be provided.

Watford & District Mencap society supports local people with learning disabilities and their families/carers.
We support around 800 local people each year.
Our services include registered care homes, adult learning and leisure activities, children's services, free advice and information, community training cafe. We also operate a charity shop as well as a programme of fundraising events.
