We're a museum of local history, presenting as much of the local story as we can, as widely as we can. Finding out that story is key to our work.

You'll have access to the full range of archives and sources - many online - as you read into what ever interests you about the various Three Rivers Communities.

We'll present your work in the museum, probably on the website, and perhaps on social media.

You'll work mainly at home, but will find a lot of the materail in our archives in the museum, and will visit libraries and other archives as well.

If you're an experienced researcher you'll be able to apply your skills to what might be a new area for you. Or you might be trying this for the first time - a new and valuable skill! But you'll learn a lot, and have a lot of fun.
