We organise regular social events for Friends of the museum and are looking for an events co-ordinator to plan and organise these.

We organise outings and events that may interest our group of museum Members and Friends. We need a co-ordinator to plan and organise these events and maintain associated paperwork. We currently organise a minimum of two events a year, and are looking to expand to a maximum of four events.

Your role will be to:

  • Identify what events our members would like to attend
  • Create an events schedule
  • Liaise with hosting organisations
  • Hold details of attendees
  • Capture and share feedback, and implement improvements for subsequent events

You'll be organised, dependable and detail-oriented. You'll be a good communicator in English who works well with others.

The role will require around 1 hour per week on average.

You'll have (or will learn) skills such as using email, Word and Excel (training can be provided),
