Our education programme offers schools and other groups visits to our museum, and also sees us going out to schools. You could join our small team in that.

Our education programme offers schools and other groups visits to our museum, and also sees us going out to schools in the Three Rivers area. We're looking to increase our small team providing that service.

We aim to tell the story of living and working round 'here' - across Three Rivers. We do this in the museum, on line through our website and other channels, and by going out to visit schools and talk to classes about it. Our Education Officer leads the small team, which works intermittently and largely 'on demand'. But we are also developing our resources and materials (for example with 'mathematics in a museum'), and this is part of the role.

If you have experience in the classroom, whether or not in 'history', this might suit you - and if not, it might offer something different!
