Summary
We’re looking for a tech-savvy volunteer to help with the technical aspects of our live events.
Detailed description
Are you interested in live events and want hands-on experience with sound, lighting, and technical setup? Or do you already have experience and want to use your skills to support a youth charity?
We’re looking for a tech-savvy volunteer to help with the technical aspects of our live events — from setting up sound and lighting equipment to supporting smooth event delivery.
About Us
We are a small youth charity running community events, workshops, and programmes that empower young people. Our events range from small gatherings to larger performances and celebrations — and we want to make sure they run smoothly and professionally.
What You’ll Do
As a tech volunteer, you’ll:
- Help set up and pack down sound and lighting equipment.
- Assist with live sound mixing and lighting control during events.
- Support rehearsals and technical run-throughs.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues on the day.
What We’re Looking For
You might be:
- A student or young person interested in a career in live events or production.
- Someone with previous experience in sound, lighting, or AV setups
- A reliable and practical person who enjoys working behind the scenes.
No formal qualifications are required — just a willingness to learn and a commitment to helping out.
What You’ll Gain
- Hands-on experience in live event production.
- Opportunities to learn from experienced team members.
- A chance to contribute to meaningful youth-focused events.
- References and support for future opportunities.
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and levels of experience. Training and support will be provided.
