We’re looking for a new trustee to join our board with a focus on HR. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of our charity, ensuring we remain a safe, inclusive, and supportive place for staff, volunteers, and young people.
About Us
We are a small youth charity working to empower young people through community-based programmes, events, and support. Our trustees play a vital role in guiding our strategy, ensuring good governance, and championing our values.
What We’re Looking For

Key areas where your HR expertise could help:
- Supporting staff and volunteer wellbeing.
- Advising on recruitment and retention.
- Strengthening policies around safeguarding, diversity, and inclusion.
- Helping us build a positive and values-led culture.
Trustee Responsibilities
As a trustee, you’ll:

- Contribute to strategic decisions and oversight.
- Act as a critical friend to the leadership team.
- Ensure the charity meets its legal and ethical obligations.
What You’ll Gain
- A chance to make a real difference in young people’s lives.
- Experience in charity governance and leadership.
- Opportunities for personal and professional development.
- Connection with a passionate and supportive team.
We particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience of the issues we work on, and from underrepresented backgrounds.
