Lead the planning and delivery of events that support the Armed Forces community while helping The Muster Point grow its impact.

The Muster Point delivers events that celebrate, support and champion the Armed Forces community. From Armed Forces Day and remembrance events to fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns and community engagement projects, our events help connect people, build partnerships and raise the profile of veteran support across Hertfordshire and beyond.

As our Event Manager Volunteer, you'll take the lead in planning and delivering these events from concept to completion. You'll identify new opportunities for The Muster Point to attend and host events, develop event plans, coordinate volunteers, liaise with venues, suppliers and partner organisations, oversee event logistics and help ensure every event is delivered safely, professionally and within budget.

Working closely with the Board of Directors, you'll play a key role in expanding The Muster Point's reach, developing new partnerships and creating memorable events that have a lasting impact on the Armed Forces community.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys bringing people together and seeing projects through from idea to delivery. In return, you'll gain valuable experience in event management, project planning, leadership and stakeholder engagement while helping a growing organisation make a genuine difference to the lives of serving personnel, veterans and their families.
