Nov 2023 is meatballs month! Our charity's Meatballs for Muscle Dreams campaign is seeking a confident, digitally-savvy, self-starter - is that you?

Detailed description

MHF is a multi award-winning small charity. You are a self-starter, a strong communicator, digitally-savvy, ideally with some PR/event and/or campaign experience, looking to make an impact.

Whether you love meatballs or not, this is an innovative campaign that's already caught the attention of many top chefs! It's a foodie fundraiser with a simple goal - to leverage the campaign by engaging the nation's appetite throughout the month of November by getting people to host their own meatball party or just cook up some balls, be they meat, fish or whatever and in so doing, help support MHF in making more Muscle Dreams a reality!

We are looking for a volunteer to drive the campaign forwards. With support from MHF's CEO, you will have full autonomy to help make the campaign an even greater success in 2023. A self-starter, with bags of energy, initiative and strong communications skills, this short term 4-month project has many assets already in place.

The key deliverable is to amplify awareness, exploiting social media by writing and posting messages that help amplify/drive campaign engagement. Can you help us make more 'social noise' in the months leading up to November? We would like you to start in early Sept and help build the meatballs momentum!

In addition to MHF's CEO, you will also work with one or two other volunteers, namely those with some copy-writing and creative graphic skills to ensure that the creative aspect of the campaign is felt externally. You will also work with a niche PR contact to make sure that messaging is aligned and joined up.

This role will lend itself brilliantly to someone who can make things happen - we've absolutely no doubt that it will be a fun short-term project, with loads of flexibility - of course, we will support you as much as we possibly can along the way.

We are keen to hear your ideas, so if you're a foodie, perhaps you watch those foodie TV shows, maybe you know some chefs or perhaps you know your way around the hospitality world and have some connections with organisations or people that might be interested in partnering with the charity on this campaign, then let's chat!

Got a creative flair? Confident on the phone? Got great digital skills (including knowing how to use social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & Twitter)? We want to hear from you.

Your passion right now could be a game-changer for our small charity ~ the pandemic has hit many charities very hard, which is why we are looking to innovate and get creative and harness your energies in helping us attract new donations by paying homage to the humble meatball - yes, it's as simple as that!

As always, our mission is 657 focused and if our Meatballs for Muscle Dreams campaign can help support the mission, you'll be playing a vital part as the charity's journey continues to unfold. This campaign needs to be driven and so if you feel you have the skills, talents and passion to help us drive it forwards, be sure you apply ~ thank you!
