We are a small group of volunteers who meet every month (3rd Thursday of the month) to carry out maintenance work at Danesbury Nature Reserve.

Typical work includes cutting back scrub (scrub bashing), removing unwanted sapling trees, keeping fence lines and paths clear for the public to use. This is not gardening but parkland management and often quite physical work, although we have a wide range of volunteers and adapt tasks to suit people.
