We are currently looking for a Chairman to join our Committee. Ideally this person will have a retail background.
Tewin Stores & Cafe is a not for profit community shop run by a paid manager and a team of volunteers. It is overseen by a small committee currently comprising 7 volunteers who all reside in Tewin. We are currently looking for a Committee Chairman who has a retail background to both lead the committee and importantly to get involved in the oversight of the shops operation. This will include promoting the shop & cafe to increase sales, overseeing areas such as purchasing, supplier management, buildings & equipment maintenance and general support for the shop manager.
