This is an opportunity to join a socially important organisation at a pivotal point. SACB helps people access better rates of finance and move away from payday lenders and loan sharks. We also work with strategic partners to provide payroll deduction arrangements and are in the middle of an exciting period of transformational change with ambitious plans to extend our reach to the wider community.
This role will involve you in helping to develop our strategy, and oversee the outsource company that runs our operations, systems and controls. You will also be responsible for our internal systems, run by an IT Manager.
The role will equate to volunteering for up to 1 day per week, plus time for preparation and attendance at Board Meetings held in St Albans. There is scope for flexibility with the actual hours worked and remote working is in place.
We are regulated by the PRA and FCA and this role carries Senior Management Function 8 responsibilities.
