Summary

The HR Advisor to the Board provides advice and guidance on all people-related matters to the SACB Board so it can deliver its mission and thrive.

Detailed description

This is an opportunity to join an exciting and socially important organisation as it continues to develop its engagement with our local community. SACB provide essential savings and lending services within the St Albans and wider Hertfordshire area and help people access better rates of finance, move away from payday lenders and loan sharks.  We also work with strategic partners to provide payroll deduction arrangements.

We are in the middle of an exciting period of transformational change and have ambitious plans to modernise and grow our business to more areas within the community.

We are looking for a CIPD qualified professional who can work with our volunteer-only team to advise the Board on engagement, the wellbeing of our volunteers, leadership and organisational development. You will also manage volunteer recruitment and ensure appropriate learning and development is available.

We are regulated by the PRA and FCA, so experience within a regulated environment would be helpful, though not essential.

More information and a detailed role description are available on our website.
