Detailed description
Our board of trustees brings extensive governance experience and has played a key role in guiding the park to its current strong financial position. We currently have a vacancy on the board. While we are not seeking a specific skill set, expertise in environmental conservation would be highly valuable.
The park faces new challenges compared to when it was established 30 years ago. Our priority is to maintain and enhance wildlife habitats while balancing the needs of park visitors who may prefer less natural areas.
Trustees are not involved in day-to-day operations. They meet quarterly to ensure proper management and provide guidance when needed. This role offers an opportunity to support conservation and biodiversity in a meaningful way. It is well-suited for individuals with professional qualifications or strong knowledge in environmental stewardship.
