Looking for a Rewarding Voluntary Finance Role? Royston Museum Trust CIO is looking for a Finance Trustee to join our Board.
Royston Museum Trust CIO is looking for a Finance Trustee to join our Board. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your financial skills to support a welcoming, independent museum and help ensure it can thrive for years to come.
As Finance Trustee, you'll help oversee the museum's financial health alongside the Chair and fellow trustees. You'll review budgets and accounts, help plan for the future, and ensure financial decisions support our charitable aims. You'll also work with staff and trustees to strengthen financial processes and provide clear management information to the Board.
We're seeking someone with a relevant qualification and experience in finance, accounting, or financial management; previous trustee experience isn't required. What matters most is sound judgement, a collaborative approach, financial expertise, and an interest in helping a small organisation make a big local impact.
The role is voluntary. The Board meets quarterly at the Museum and there will be additional support between meetings.
By joining our Board, you'll help safeguard the future of a much-loved local museum that brings the stories, heritage and collections of Royston and the surrounding area to life. If you'd like to contribute your financial expertise and make a real difference in your community, we'd love to hear from you.
To request a recruitment pack, or to express your interest, please contact John Davison, Chair of Trustees via the Museum.
