Summary

Rickmansworth and Chorleywood District Scouts are currently inviting nominations for persons to serve as appointed Trustees on our Trustee Board

Detailed description

We have two vacancies for appointed trustees and are particularly keen to hear from people who have skills in volunteer recruitment and health and safety.

Scouting Policy and Rules now also require a selection process for District Chair and Treasurer. Both the current Chair and Treasurer have indicated they are happy to be reappointed at the AGM but if anyone with appropriate skills and experience wishes to put themselves forward applications would be welcome.

You can find more information about being a trustee by visiting the Board of Trustees page on the Scouts website. Please note that as a trustee you will become a member of the Scout Association and will be required to undertake some training.

When applying please give a brief summary of why you wish to be appointed and what skills you can bring to the role. Please also confirm that you are over 18, and have not been disqualified from standing as a Charity Trustee by virtue of the Charities Acts or any other legislation.

About Rickmansworth and Chorleywood Scout District

As part of The Scouts, the aim of the Rickmansworth and Chorleywood leaders is to empower young people to learn new skills, make new friends and stand on their own two feet. They shape young people’s lives for the better, and find out a whole lot about themselves in the process, too.
