Summary

Rickmansworth and Chorleywood Scout District is looking for someone to assist its leadership team to support and maintain the IT system and website.

Detailed description

Rickmansworth and Chorleywood Scout District is looking for someone to assist its leadership team to support and maintain its email and data storage systems and website. Whilst most of the work can be done from home, we would like our IT Support person to be able to attend meetings within Rickmansworth and to feel part of a team that is supporting our Scout Groups and Explorer units to provide exciting activities and #Skills for Life for young people aged between 6 to 18.

Currently we use Google Workspace for our emails and data storage. Over the past few months, we have become aware that we don’t fully appreciate how to get the best from our system and need someone to manage it. Our website is currently on the WordPress system, and we are aware that we could be doing more with it but that needs someone with the time and interest.

About Rickmansworth and Chorleywood Scout District

As part of The Scouts, the aim of the Rickmansworth and Chorleywood leaders is to empower young people to learn new skills, make new friends and stand on their own two feet. They shape young people’s lives for the better, and find out a whole lot about themselves in the process, too.
