Got a driving licence and a bit of spare time? We’re looking for volunteer van drivers to help us collect and deliver donations between our 32 shops and our HQ

What will you be doing?

You’ll be out and about, with a driver's mate, dropping off stock to our shops and picking up donated items to bring them back to Berkhamsted. It’s a great way to get out of the house, meet new people, and do something that really matters.

What are we looking for?

You’ll need a full UK driving licence and a can-do attitude. We’ll provide the van, the support, and the laughs. There'll be some heavy bags and boxes to lift and move around, so you'll need to be comfortable with that.

What’s in it for you?

  • 🛻 A chance to be part of a friendly, supportive team
  • 💪 Keep active and feel good while doing good
  • 🧠 Learn new skills and boost your confidence
  • ☕ Tea, biscuits, and plenty of friendly chat included

About Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care

When serious illness strikes, we're here to help people in our community get the best out of every day. From the moment of diagnosis our specialist teams work with each individual to provide the compassionate care they need, in the place that's best for them. This is what we call: extraordinary care, anywhere.

We know that life-limiting illness doesn't just affect the individual, so we care for those around each patient, too – both during an illness and through bereavement.

It takes a whole community to provide this care to everybody who needs it. Our volunteers, supporters and champions in the community are the driving force behind everything we do.
