💜 About the role
Our Move and Restore sessions use gentle, guided exercise to support people living with life-limiting illness. As a volunteer, you’ll be part of a friendly rehabilitation team, helping to create a welcoming, encouraging space where patients can take part at their own pace. - Supporting exercise sessions alongside our physiotherapy team
- Encouraging and chatting with patients throughout the session
- Helping set up equipment and refreshments
- Assisting patients to move safely around the space
- (If you’d like to!) leading warm-ups or cool-downs once you feel confident
🌟 What’s in it for you?
- Make a meaningful difference to people’s physical and emotional wellbeing
- Be part of a warm, supportive team
- Build confidence and develop new skills
- Gain experience in a healthcare or wellbeing setting
- Receive training and ongoing support from experienced staff

About Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care
When serious illness strikes, we're here to help people in our community get the best out of every day. From the moment of diagnosis our specialist teams work with each individual to provide the compassionate care they need, in the place that's best for them. This is what we call: extraordinary care, anywhere.
We know that life-limiting illness doesn't just affect the individual, so we care for those around each patient, too – both during an illness and through bereavement.
It takes a whole community to provide this care to everybody who needs it. Our volunteers, supporters and champions in the community are the driving force behind everything we do.
