We're looking for a volunteer to support our Complementary Therapy team to make sure they have a constant supply of clean towels on Wednesday mornings.

Do you love organising?

We're looking for someone to help us sort out the towels that we use for our complementary therapy patients.

It's not particularly glamorous, but it's essential! - Clean, fresh towels add to the overall experience of being cared for.

It just takes a couple of hours on a Wednesday morning to unpack the clean towels and put them away in the laundry room, and make sure the dirty laundry is ready to be picked up.

What are we looking for:

  • you don't need to have any experience, just be organised and enjoy keeping things tidy
  • there are some heavy bags to lift onto shelves, so you will need to manage those

What's in it for you:

  • Feel like you're making a difference - a couple of hours a week of your time means that our patients can enjoy the full experience of their treatment
  • Be part of something special - we're here to support people from an initial diagnosis throughout their illness, and you can be part of that unique service

About Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care

When serious illness strikes, we're here to help people in our community get the best out of every day. From the moment of diagnosis our specialist teams work with each individual to provide the compassionate care they need, in the place that's best for them. This is what we call: extraordinary care, anywhere.

We know that life-limiting illness doesn't just affect the individual, so we care for those around each patient, too – both during an illness and through bereavement.

It takes a whole community to provide this care to everybody who needs it. Our volunteers, supporters and champions in the community are the driving force behind everything we do.
