We're looking for a friendly person who would be happy travelling to all our offices and shops to keep track of our valuable IT equipment.

Are you tech-savvy, organised, and up for a bit of travel? We’re looking for a volunteer to help us carry out IT audits across our sites — making sure our equipment is up to scratch and everything’s running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Visiting our 32 shops and 5 offices to check and log IT equipment
  • Making sure devices are labelled, tracked, and accounted for
  • Spotting any issues and helping us keep things secure and efficient
  • Working closely with our IT team to help with minor hardware tasks

What are we looking for?

You’ll need basic IT knowledge, good attention to detail, and a full driving licence. We’ll provide training, support, and a warm welcome wherever you go.

What’s in it for you?

  • 🧠 Gain hands-on experience in IT and asset management
  • 🚙 Get out and about while making a real difference
  • 💬 Be part of a friendly, supportive team
  • 🎓 Great for your CV if you’re into tech or looking to build experience
  • ☕ Tea, biscuits, and plenty of appreciation at every stop

Getting there

About Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care

When serious illness strikes, we're here to help people in our community get the best out of every day. From the moment of diagnosis our specialist teams work with each individual to provide the compassionate care they need, in the place that's best for them. This is what we call: extraordinary care, anywhere.

We know that life-limiting illness doesn't just affect the individual, so we care for those around each patient, too – both during an illness and through bereavement.

It takes a whole community to provide this care to everybody who needs it. Our volunteers, supporters and champions in the community are the driving force behind everything we do.
