Rennie Grove Peace is committed to linking people in our local area to our services. Engagement Ambassadors help spread the word about what we do.

Supporting the Community Engagement team, our Engagement Ambassadors will help to dispel myths about hospice care and educate the public about the role of the hospice in supporting patients and their families with life-limiting illness, from early diagnosis, throughout their illness, and, for families and carers, through to bereavement care.

Our ambassadors arrange visits to local community and business groups to promote the hospice by delivering engaging presentations and talks to groups at external meetings or events.

They share information about Rennie Grove Peace events and news within their networks, showing people how they can get involved by supporting or volunteering for us.

About Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care

When serious illness strikes, we're here to help people in our community get the best out of every day. From the moment of diagnosis our specialist teams work with each individual to provide the compassionate care they need, in the place that's best for them. This is what we call: extraordinary care, anywhere.

We know that life-limiting illness doesn't just affect the individual, so we care for those around each patient, too – both during an illness and through bereavement.

It takes a whole community to provide this care to everybody who needs it. Our volunteers, supporters and champions in the community are the driving force behind everything we do.
