We're looking for Volunteers to help create a welcoming, safe, and inspiring environment for people living with a life-limiting illness,

Working alongside our Creative Therapies team, you'll support patients to explore their creativity through art and craft activities while enjoying companionship and connection. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting our therapists to set up art and craft materials before each workshop
  • Encouraging and assisting participants with creative activities in a relaxed and supportive way
  • Helping patients express themselves through creativity, whatever their ability or experience
  • Serving drinks and helping create a warm, welcoming atmosphere
  • Supporting with clearing away materials and tidying up after sessions
  • Helping ensure artwork is stored safely and confidentially

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with people and is compassionate, patient, and empathetic
  • Has an interest in art, creativity, and wellbeing
  • Feels comfortable supporting people with varying abilities and needs
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Can help create a positive, inclusive environment where everyone feels encouraged to participate

No formal art qualifications are required. We'll provide all the training and support you need to feel confident in the role.
