Children’s Liturgy Catechist

Catholic volunteers needed to assist with Children’s Liturgy sessions in local parish.

When:

Sunday mornings, 9.15-10.30 during term time.

This is on a rota basis, we ask that you can commit to 2-3 Sundays per half term. You will always be paired with another catechist.

Duties:

• Setting up the space
• Following the approved lesson plan and leading engaging sessions to children aged 3-7 years
• Reading the weekly gospel, encouraging age appropriate discussion and providing a suitable creative activity (resources available) 
• Good timekeeping skills required
• Tidying up afterwards
