Summary
A key role to support our Lead Fundraiser and the Events Team to formulate, evolve and deliver our Marketing and Fundraising Strategy.Detailed description
This is an interesting and fun role in the Fundraising team involved in helping us raise awareness of our charity and increase donations. Your tasks involve:
- Attend fundraising events when required.
- Support the Lead Fundraiser and the Events Team to formulate, evolve and deliver the Marketing and Fundraising Strategy.
- Help us meet donation targets.
- Understand and develop the requirements of the fundraising events, Charity story and aims.
- Liaise face to face with the general public to encourage instant and regular donations.
- Contact local businesses, companies, local authorities to apply for funding, grants, awards and other donations for the Charity.
- Provide regular reports to the Operations team.
- Support our social media team and their activities.
- Liaise with current volunteers; encourage their support for fundraising.
- Cash and donation handling as per our finance policy.
