Summary
We are looking for outgoing people to attend events to help us raise donations at our charity events through the year.
Detailed description
This role requires applicants to :
• Attend events chosen by the charity
• Work closely with the Lead Fundraiser to understand the requirements of the fundraising events, charity story and aims.
• Face to face with the general public to encourage instant and recurring donations.
• Help set up and pack down equipment for events, and may include manual handling
of tables, chairs, banners, and gazebos.
• Handle cash, donations, change as per the cash handling policy.
• Understand all the fundraising channels available to the public and be able to explain how they can donate, support and follow us.
• Wear a Pumpkin’s T-shirt at fundraising events.
• Suggest new ideas and initiatives and to attend fundraising meetings when appropriate.
