Volunteering at parkrun is a great way to get involved. Roles for everyone, no experience needed. Help once or regularly, it’s up to you.
There are a variety of roles to choose from, including marshals, timekeepers, barcode scanners and finish token support. You don’t need any experience as all roles are simple to learn on the day and you’ll be supported by a friendly team. Volunteering is a great way to support children to be active, meet new people and be part of your local community. Many of our volunteers also head to the café afterwards for a well-earned drink or slice of cake!
The event runs from 9:00am to around 9:30am, with volunteers usually arriving at 8:30am for a quick briefing and setup.
To find out more about the different roles available visit our website and select 'Volunteer'.
