Summary
Help support workshop leaders as they deliver to Y6 students that focus on well-being and resilience in the approach to transitioning to secondary school.Detailed description
Throughout the school year, we run a series of workshops each term that focus on building resilience and well-being in students, teaching them how to manage emotions, change, and difficult situations.
We deliver three workshops - one each term - to 13 primary schools in the area. These workshops are led by our amazing team, but we're looking for more volunteers to be able to support them by leading small groups of students (3-4) in the activities that the leaders set out.
The feedback from these workshops is always really positive from both students and teachers, and it is exciting to see the real impact our work is having on the young people in our community and their ability to navigate the transition to secondary school.

Phase is a small charity with a big mission – to work alongside young people to promote their wellbeing and resilience. In 2021 this mission is more important than ever as we all face the challenges of lockdown, social distancing and stress caused by Covid 19.
We strongly believe that when children are supported early it is possible to prevent more serious emotional and mental health issues developing.
