Could you help shape the future of our nursery children? Peartree Way Nursery School is looking for governors to join our friendly and committed Governing Body
We are a maintained nursery school in Stevenage, providing high-quality early education for children aged 2–4. We are proud of our diverse community and our commitment to giving every child the best possible start in life.
We are looking for people who are interested in education and passionate about helping children and families, and who can bring their own skills, experience and perspective to our Governing Body.
You don't need to have been a governor before. We welcome people from a wide range of backgrounds and provide support and training to help you understand the role.
Being a governor is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to children and their families in your local community. You will gain experience of strategic leadership, education and governance, while working alongside a dedicated team of governors and school staff.
Our Governing Body meets regularly during the school year, with opportunities to visit the nursery and learn more about the work of the school.
