We’re delighted to invite you or a member of your team to a fully funded training day for VCFSE leaders in Hertfordshire—designed to help you strengthen your impact and better support the health and wellbeing of the communities you serve.

The Living Well Course – Training Day

Wednesday 29 April | 🕘 9:00am – 4:30pm

Focolare Centre, Welwyn Garden City

Why this matters for your community

Many organisations are supporting people with increasingly complex needs—often in reactive ways due to limited time and resources.

This training introduces lifestyle medicine approaches that can help you:

  • Support people to improve long-term health and wellbeing
  • Reduce demand on crisis services by focusing on prevention
  • Build more sustainable, empowering support within your organisation

You’ll explore practical ways to address key areas like sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, connection and purpose—all proven to improve health outcomes.

What you’ll gain

This is not just theory—you’ll leave with practical tools and resources you can actually use:

  • Ready-to-use resources and “prescriptions” for your work
  • Step-by-step guidance on designing and delivering your own course to your service users
  • Insight into recruitment, facilitation, and measuring impact
  • Real examples of what works (and common pitfalls to avoid)

High-quality training you can trust

The course is:

  • Delivered by experienced lifestyle medicine professionals (all local GP’s!)
  • Based on evidence of what improves long-term health outcomes
  • Designed specifically for VCFSE leaders working in real community settings

Who should attend?

This is ideal for anyone in a leadership role within a charity, community, faith or social enterprise organisation who wants to:

  • Improve outcomes for the people they support
  • Develop new approaches to health and wellbeing
  • Build more proactive, preventative services

Secure your place

Places are limited and demand is high, so we recommend booking early.

Please do share with other Community Leaders that you feel would benefit from this course.
