Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Administration Volunteer to support the Marketing & Communications Team.

Detailed description

We are looking for a Marketing Administration Volunteer to support the Marketing & Communications Team with implementing a new asset management system (Resource Space) which stores photos, videos and marketing materials for the charity to use to promote the charity.


By volunteering in this role, not only will you be ensuring we efficiently implement the new system, you will be helping ensure that our Noah’s Ark’s promotional materials are easily accessible and effectively used. This will enhance our ability to communicate our mission, engage with supporters, and ultimately increase awareness and support for the charity.


Noah’s Ark takes their responsibility for safeguarding the wellbeing of children seriously. This role is subject to two references.

Main activities/tasks:

  • Uploading marketing assets (photos, videos, designs etc.) onto Resource Space, our new asset management system.
  • Support with general administration tasks provided by the Marketing & Communications Team

Qualities/ experience/ skills needed:

  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Content with repetitive, time consuming tasks
  • Experience with organizing data
  • Confident with picking up new software
  • Patience

Interviews, training and assessment process:

At Noah’s Ark, we value volunteer support, but we are also aware that not all roles are suitable for everyone. The interview and training process is in place to ensure that the Noah’s Ark staff get to know more about you, that you are given the correct training for the role and that you can find out if this is a role you would like to undertake. The training process is as follows:

  • Attend a Volunteer Information Session: all potential volunteers have to attend one of these sessions before they are able to get involved in any capacity
  • Informal interview: This will take place at the Noah’s Ark office or via zoom at a time that works best for you.
  • Core module (full day): Held on weekends, a full day training to give you prepare you for volunteering in a children’s hospice environment and with our families.
  • Safeguarding Module (3 hours): Held on a weekday evening, depending on the schedule. Essential for ensuring the safety of our service.

Noah’s Ark takes its responsibility for safeguarding the wellbeing of children seriously. This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Application. Two references are also required.
