Summary

Neurodivergent led holiday care provision seeking volunteer support staff to support with school holiday provision.

Detailed description

Neurokind Space run a low-demand, sensory aware holiday club developed by individuals who understand the weight of masking – and the joy of being accepted, exactly as you are.

Neurokind Space was developed by Neurodivergent adults, for Neurodivergent children. We support children with school based anxiety, ADHD, Autism, PDA, OCD, Anxiety and other Neurodiversity's.

The holiday care provision runs every school holiday 9am-4pm. We are currently seeking volunteers/staff for October half term to support our young people in participating in activities such as pony therapy, slime stations, sports, art, mindfulness and other activities.

Mandatory training will be provided. It is important that we withhold our key values which are - low demand, sensory and trauma informed care, zero pressure participation and encouraging the children to express their true authentic selves. We focus on preventative strategies, emotional intelligence and co-regulation.

Strong preference to Neurodivergents and / or carers/parents of Neurodivergent children.
