You will be volunteering to help make the garden more accessible for our residents.

You will be volunteering with Rosevale in Hertfordshire to help make the garden more accessible for our residents. It is important that the people we support can safely access and enjoy the outdoor space, as this plays a vital role in their wellbeing.

There is a lot to do, and we would greatly appreciate your support in preparing the garden so it can be enjoyed by everyone.

The people who live here will be delighted to welcome you into their home.

We would like to welcome you on the 16th July 10:30am-2:30pm.

About Mencap Mencap is the leading learning disability charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We work with people with a learning disability and their families to challenge prejudice and change laws, and we directly support thousands of people to live their lives as they choose.

We have an ambitious vision for the UK to be the best place in the world for people with a learning disability to live happy and healthy lives.

Volunteering with us is YOUR opportunity to help us achieve this, whilst having the chance to develop your skills, meet new people and join a passionate and dedicated team.

Please note that as part of our data retention process, you will remain as a volunteer for Mencap for a year after the day you sign up for your first event. In this time, you will receive our volunteering newsletters and can keep up to date with our latest opportunities for you to support us as a volunteer. After the year is up, if you have not volunteered again, our system will automatically make you a leaver on our system.

Should you wish to leave our team sooner than this, contact your volunteer manager, email the volunteering team, or add your own end date at any point (instructions for this are available). Thank you for helping Mencap to support people with a learning disability to live their best lives.
