Minibus Driver Volunteer

As a driver of one of our lovely community minibuses, you’ll be making a big difference to the wellbeing of local people by enabling them to attend social clubs. This role is a great way to meet new people, get out and about in Letchworth and see first-hand the amazing work that local clubs are doing.

By helping local residents get to social clubs, you’ll be making a massive difference to their quality of life and wellbeing.

What you will be doing: 

·  Picking up residents from their homes and taking them to social clubs  

·  Picking up residents from social clubs and taking them home  

·  Carrying out routine checks on the minibus and reporting any concerns 

This role is for you if you’re: 

·   Friendly, polite, good with people 

·   Interested in helping others 

·   Reliable 

·   Holding a clean, full driving license including D1 entitlement

Timings:

Monday and Tuesday morning/early afternoon. You can be flexible with when and how often you'd like to volunteer.
